Well it's that time of year again and after the hectic holiday rush you've probably emptied your bank account.

Don't worry over your cash drain after all it's a new year. What better time then right now is there to make a shift in your Individual Finance situation?

Now before you promise changes to yourself that you can't possibley keep like I'll be a millionaire by 50; here's 5 resolutions you can proabably actually keep that will make a real difference in your future:

  1. Save the Company Match on Your 401K- The year has been a rough one what would give you more satisfaction than free money? Try to find a stock that gives you a 100% return on your investment plus the tax savings.

  2. Start an Individual Retirement Account (IRA)-Most of us haven't yet created an IRA and we're missing out on great tax savings potential. While the ROTH IRA is another choice if you'd like your tax savings later in life, I just don't trust the government that much and I'd rather have my tax

It's a fact that just about everyone, everywhere runs a little short on money from time to time. Sometimes, we just need a little cash to hold us over until the next pay day. So, unless you are a millionaire who is financially independent and has no bills, chances are you've needed some type of short term cash loan at some time. These loans can save you or they can make your life miserable.

There's absolutely nothing dishonorable about running out of short term cash. Maybe you have more bills than you have money at the end of the month. At times like this, there's nothing wrong with acquiring a short term "pay day loan."

If you're not familiar with the term "pay day loan," here's what it is: a very short term, and usually small amount, cash assistance loan that is ideally paid back to the person or business that gave the loan at the time that the borrower is paid his or her next paycheck. In most cases, this is within a two-week
